A trip to Lisbon, Portugal!

So this year I went on vacation without my parents for the very first time, and I had the most amazing time. Not because my parents weren't there, I loved the vacations with them (they are divorced, so I used to go on two vacations in one summer), but because I could do the things I wanted, and not what they wanted! Okay so, I didn't go all by myself, I went with my best friend from high school. We have the same interest (shopping, beauty, skincare) so we had a great time and liked the same things. We went online looking for places to go to back in March, and we were doubting between Lisbon, Barcelona and Milan, but eventually we chose Lisbon because that was the only big city with a beach. It sucked when we found out the beach was a few miles away from our hotel, the coast of Lisbon itself is harbour which we found out when we arrived there in our swimwear.. *facepalm*







I figured it wasn't a great idea to take a huge suitcase with me, I'm addicted to shopping so I figured that if I had a lot of space I would buy A LOT of stuff. I took a tiny one with me, it looked so adorable, haha! The things next to my suitcase are the things I took with me as hand luggage.



We had a flight that included a transfer, not that big of a deal. We had to wait three hours on the airport of Paris. We were a bit shocked by the price of everthing, a bottle of water was about 4 euros and it felt like we were locked in a greenhouse. We bought some magazines, drunk a coffee (or three) and eventually continued our flight to Lisbon!



When we arrived at the Lisbon airport it was already 1 AM, so we took a bus to the hotel and unpacked some of our stuff, I made a picture of the bathroom (in my pyjamas lol) because I laughed about the amount of stuff we brought with us, knowing we were going to buy a lot in Lisbon.. Oops, haha.



The next morning we woke up and left our hotel, this stunning few was the first thing we saw. My mouth litarally dropped. Lisbon is gorgeous.



I guess the cutest thing in Lisbon were those yellow trams, awh!



We went into the shopping district for not even two hours, and I already bought something in 4 shops. Good start Jim!



The next day we went to one of the biggest malls in Lisbon, there where so many kind of stores, even an One Direction themed one haha. I'm not a fan of them, but I thought it was funny.




We made some more trips, up the hills and more malls, went to beach and actually had a really nice vacation. I fell in love with Portugal and its culture, and I will return to the country one day!



Is this frozen yoghurt? I'm not sure anymore.. (just kidding) The woman behind the counter kept asking which topping I would like, I ended up with more toppings than yoghurt..



At the end of our vacation we made a picture of almost everything we bought and this is how it turned out. Oh my god haha. A shop log is coming soon!
