Review: The Body Shop Blueberry & Macadamia Duo Body Butter

So I'm just gonna say it out loud, *clears throat*, I love The Body Shop. It's probably the first store I've ever loved so much and kept loving for a long time. Also they're not that expensive in my opinion. They're not cheap of course, but there are way more expensive shops around, like Lush and L'Occitane.



My all time favourite products of TBS must be their body butters. I genuinely am in love with the smell of all of them. I've had quite a few of them already.



The latest ones I got on my vacation are the Blueberry and the Macadamia Duo body butters. They're both delicious. The Blueberry one is very fruity and fresh, the scent is very present and lasts on your skin for at least a couple of hours (6 maybe?). The Macadamia Duo body butter is really nutty and warm, maybe even creamy if that's a way to describe a scent. I don't know, it's just that I get a really cozy feeling while using it. Like it's christmas or something.



The reason why got two, and when I tell you most of you will be like "why did you only get two!?". Well, a few of their body butters where in the sale for only €4,50,- each. Yes, that's right, €4,50,- each. I would have gotten more but I didn't like the smell of the raspberry one, neither the sweat pea one. And the other ones where already sold out (I think that's quite logical).

   

Both the Blueberry and Macadamia DUO body butter are fairly think, you can see the Blueberry is on the left and the Macadami on the right, but the 'normal skin' side of the Macadamia DUO is more a body lotion than a body butter if you ask me. That does not mean they don't hydrate well. Because I've used both for about two weeks and my skin feels comfortabel and smooth. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that both of these butters are limited editions, which means they will be out of the collection soon. If you can get your hands on one of them I recommend them, you won't regret a thing! If not, they have plenty of other scents which you will love.



As they were in the sale I would like to say something else. Would I've bought both of them if they were the normal price (€16 and €18)? I would have still gotten the Blueberry one, I am obsessed with the smell of it. I don't think I would have bought the Macadami DUO as well, because I only like the side for dry skin, even though I haven't got a dry skin. Perhaps I would have got the Vineyard Peach body butter instead, because that one's on my wishlist for sure!
